The Farm in Galong is a residential rehabilitation service for women and children nestled in the Hilltops region of NSW. We are committed to delivering quality care to our clients whilst maintaining strong operational and financial practices.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to work 2 days a week on-site. You will manage our financial workflows from day-to-day data entry through to full balance sheet preparation.
Because our work is highly sensitive, this position is 100% on-site. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with our frontline team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end bookkeeping, payroll, superannuation, and balance sheet reconciliations in MYOB.
- Manage Centrelink payment split for clients.
- Complete regular, scheduled handovers of clean financial files to our external accountant
What You Need:
- Proven experience in full-function bookkeeping up to balance sheet level.
- Robust skills using MYOB and manage payroll.
- Excellent communication skills to work closely with frontline care staff.
- A respectful, discreet approach to handling highly confidential information.
- A mandatory National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
