As an Electrical Apprentice at Excel Power Pty Ltd, you will be joining a dynamic team of skilled electricians to assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical & solar systems in both residential and commercial properties. This is a full-time apprenticeship position based in Toowoomba, QLD 4350.
What you'll be doing
- Work alongside experienced electricians to learn and apply electrical installation and maintenance practices
- Assist with the diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical faults and issues
- Install, test and commission various electrical components and systems
- Assist with the installation of grid-connected and off-grid solar systems
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work undertaken
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry regulations at all times
- Participate in ongoing training and development to further your electrical knowledge and skills
What we're looking for
- Currently enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program
- Strong practical skills and a keen interest in the electrical and renewable trade
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to work safely and follow all relevant procedures
- Willingness to learn and adapt to current challenges
- Good communication and teamwork skills
