Private and Domestic Support Worker for Local Family

WWC clearance,
NDIS Clearance
Police Clearance
Australian Driviers Licence and a reliable car with fully comprehensive insurance.
Current First Aid Certificate

The role would also suit a student in Nursing, OT, Physiotherapist or other such professions.
Cert III Individual Support Disability or similar experience prefered.
The successful applicant would initially work weeknights 5pm-10pm /and or weekend shifts.
About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private and Domestic Support Worker to join our team on, working 1-3 shifts per week. This position is based in Kinross, WA 6028. As a Private and Domestic Support Worker you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and assistance to a young man with an interlectual disability , helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. They love public transport karaoke, music and going to shows and the movies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support, including assistance with daily living activities such as hygiene, dressing and meals
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering positive relationships and promoting their wellbeing
- Assist with community engagement and social activities
- Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided and any observations regarding client wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team, including Team leader, Family and other support workers, to ensure consistent and coordinated care
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including infection control and manual handling procedures
- Respond respectfully and sensitively to client needs and preferences
