Join the team at WA Access Hire as a full-time EWP Service Technician / Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our fleet of boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other elevated work platforms. Working from our site in Maddington, WA, you will play a vital part in ensuring our clients have access to secure and reliable equipment.
What you'll be doing
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair all types of elevated work platforms and related equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work completed
- Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients on equipment status
- Ensure workshop and equipment are well organised and maintained
- Assist with the assembly and delivery of new equipment as required
What we're looking for
- Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in the repair and maintenance of elevated work platforms or similar heavy equipment
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills with the ability to problem-solve
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
- A current driver's licence and ability to operate a forklift
- A positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to your work
