About the role
Catholic Homes is seeking Home Care Support Workers to join our Home Care team on a casual basis in the Narrogin area. Current shifts are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. These positions will be responsible for providing in-home personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport and/or daily living supports for our home care clients.
Our growing Support at Home program helps older people live safely and independently in their own homes. Services are tailored to individual needs and may include clinical care, allied health, personal support and assistance with daily living.
About you
You embody Catholic Homes values of love, hospitality, excellence and joy, and are passionate about helping older Australians maintain their independence, wellbeing and connection to their community while continuing to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
In addition, you will have:
- A qualification in Aged Care;
- Experience in Community Aged Care or NDIS support;
- A roadworthy, registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance;
- A current driver's licence;
- Comfortable and confident driving between clients homes;
- A warm, friendly personality and a genuine willingness to engage and build rapport with clients;
- A strong commitment to reliability, flexibility, and professionalism;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A caring and empathetic nature, with the ability to support elderly clients with dignity and respect;
- A person-centred approach to care and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives;
- Pride in your work, personal presentation, and the quality of care you provide;
- The ability and commitment to uphold high standards of work and represent Catholic Homes positively at all times.
