The Prospect

Holy Family Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic Educator - Classroom Support (ESO) to join our school. As an ESO, you will work closely with teaching staff in supporting students’ diverse educational needs in the classroom.

Multiple permanent position, with working hours between Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm for 41 weeks per years (school terms and week prior to start of term 1).

Key responsibilities include:

- Actively support and contribute to the Catholic Identity of the school and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life
- Provide support to children with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to succeed
- Implement inclusive, child-centered approaches to support each student's unique learning journey
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to create an optimal learning environment
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (PPLs)
- Support classroom activities, helping to create an engaging and accessible learning experience for all students

About You

We are seeking someone who:

- A Certificate III in Education Support (or equivalent) and/or relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience in a comparable role.
- Demonstrated ability to support students across literacy, numeracy, and other learning areas
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with students, staff,



and the wider School community
- Approachable and proactive, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all members of the school community

Essential Requirements:

- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
- Certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC).
- First Aid certificate (HLTAID012).
- Ability to comply with Work Health & Safety obligations.
