Australian Crash Repairs is seeking an organised, motivated and proactive Parts Manager & General Operations professional to join our team on a full-time basis in Adelaide.
This is a hands-on role that is critical to the smooth operation of our workshop. You'll be responsible for managing the complete parts process, supporting workshop operations, coordinating suppliers, and ensuring technicians have the right parts at the right time to deliver efficient, high-quality repairs.
Working closely with estimators, technicians, painters, suppliers and management, you'll help keep repairs on schedule while maintaining excellent stock control, supplier relationships and operational efficiency.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the ordering, receipting and distribution of vehicle parts.
- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and dealerships to source genuine and aftermarket parts.
- Check all incoming parts for accuracy and damage.
- Return incorrect or damaged parts and process credits.
- Monitor back orders and proactively communicate delays.
- Maintain organised parts storage and inventory control.
- Coordinate with estimators and workshop staff to ensure repairs progress efficiently.
- Assist with scheduling and day-to-day workshop operations.
- Monitor repair progress and identify operational bottlenecks.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records using workshop management systems.
- Support continuous improvement of workshop processes.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in automotive parts,
collision repair or dealership parts operations.
- Strong understanding of automotive components and repair processes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid communication and customer service skills.
- Experience using workshop or parts management software.
- A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Experience in prestige automotive or collision repair is highly regarded.
