About the role
You have an essential role in the business; reception and admin support helps to keep the wheels turning, and therapy sessions to run as smoothly as possible. Therefore, a high level of organisation, forward planning, initiative, multi-tasking and exceptional interpersonal skills are essential in this role.
Duties include all aspects of office administration, including organising the diary, liaising with third parties such as GP's, schools, taking phone calls, matching clients to their perfect match psychologist, booking appointments, management of invoicing and payments, general administrative support for the psychologists, organising our team days and functions.
Ensuring that our ‘second home’ is neat and tidy and taking pride in our space is also important, as it helps our clients to feel comfortable and relaxed during their challenging times.
The role will be offered on either a casual or permanent part time basis at the Health Professionals and Support Services (HPOS) Award from Level 4- 5 depending on experience. 20-25 hours per week negotiable. Ideally spread over 5 days per week.
Skills and experience
- Admin experience in the medical/allied health field desirable.
- Excellent Computer skills are essential with experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to maintain a calm, sensitive, pleasant and respectful manner when helping a diverse range of individuals.
- Professional presentation.
- Ability to use initiative and think about the big picture.
- Highly organised and proactive.
- Robust sense of pride in your work.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as work independently.
A current National Police Clearance Check and Working With Children Check is required.
