Dynaciv is looking for experienced and motivated Blaster Painters to join our growing team in Cairns.
We are currently delivering works across four rail bridges in the Cairns region, with a strong pipeline of work expected to continue for at least the next two years.
The role will involve all facets of abrasive blasting and industrial painting on steel bridges and other structural assets. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company, work on major infrastructure projects and become part of a supportive and professional crew.
The Role
- Abrasive blasting and industrial painting of steel bridges
- Surface preparation, coating application and touch-up work
- Working from scaffolding and other access systems
- Completing a variety of structural maintenance and remediation activities
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in abrasive blasting and industrial painting
- Experience working on steel structures or infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong safety awareness and a reliable work ethic
- Pride in producing high-quality work
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Rail experience and relevant tickets are advantageous, but training may be provided to suitable applicants
