Grazing Girls Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking farmhand/egg collector to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Gleneagle, QLD, this role offers the flexibility of casual work whilst contributing to the daily operations of our working farm.

Position: Casual – Weekend Work & Weekday shifts available from October
Grazing Girls is a family-run, free-range egg farm passionate about producing high-quality pasture-raised eggs while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our team as an Egg Collector.

About the Role
As an Egg Collector, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of our farm. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting eggs from our free-range hens
- Manual handling of egg trays and equipment
- Conducting daily welfare checks to ensure our hens are healthy and thriving
- Identifying and reporting any issues with birds or equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in work areas
- Assisting with other general farm duties as required
Hours
- Weekend shifts available
- Approximately 4–7 hours per shift
- Weekend & 3 x Weekday shifts are available initially, with opportunities for weekday fill-in work as required. From October, additional weekday shifts will become available to cover maternity leave.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Holds a current driver's licence
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling
- Passionate about animal welfare and enjoys working with livestock
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
