Physiotherapist — Grow With Us at PhysioCoach (Adelaide, SA)
Are you a curious, people-driven physiotherapist who wants more than a standard clinic role? At PhysioCoach, you'll help shape a practice as it grows — bringing your ideas to the table and adapting alongside us as we evolve. If you thrive on autonomy, meaningful client relationships, and high-quality care, we'd love to meet you.
About Us
PhysioCoach is a progressive allied health practice built on a simple belief: people do their best work when movement, education, and genuinely personalised care come together. As a growing business, we're still writing our story — and we're looking for clinicians who want to help write the next chapter rather than just slot into a finished one.
About the Role
This is a rare chance to join early and make a real mark. You'll enjoy true clinical autonomy across a diverse caseload, with the flexibility to grow your scope as the practice does. Because we're scaling, no two months look identical — so we're after someone who sees changing needs as an opportunity, not a hassle.
Our paediatric work is delivered mainly in the community — in homes, schools, and everyday settings where clients live and learn — so you'll spend a good portion of your week on the road rather than in the clinic. This is hands-on, real-world physiotherapy where you'll see the difference your care makes in context.
Day to day, you'll:
- Manage a varied caseload spanning of Paediatric clients in the clinic and community.
- Deliver hands-on treatment, tailored exercise prescription, and client education
- Travel to community settings to support paediatric clients where they live and learn
- Conduct assistive technology trials — prescribing and fitting wheelchairs, standers, and walkers to suit each client's goals
- Build trusted, lasting relationships with clients and their families
- Confidently manage third-party claims (insurance, NDIS, return-to-work)
- Keep stakeholders informed through clear, timely clinical letters and progress reports
- Use standardised outcome measures to track and communicate progress
- Make the most of our gym and rehab space for functional, goal-focused care
About You
You're likely a great fit if you:
- Are a confident, self-directed clinician who's genuinely comfortable working independently with minimal day-to-day oversight — you'll spend much of your week out in the community rather than alongside other therapists
- Have experience — or a genuine appetite to build it — in Neuropaediatrics.
- Communicate easily with third-party stakeholders and case managers
- Bring strong clinical reasoning and thorough documentation supported by appropriate outcome measures.
- Are empathetic, people-focused, and a clear communicator
- Enjoy taking initiative and rolling with the evolving needs of a growing practice
- Value integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning
How We'll Support You
Working independently doesn't mean working alone. While you won't have a therapist beside you each day, we stay closely connected by phone and check in often. You'll start with weekly mentoring sessions for your first 4–6 weeks to settle in with confidence, after which we move to an as-needed rhythm that suits you. Our support is frequent and genuine — it's just designed around how you actually work, not around being constantly in the same room.
Essential Requirements
- Current registration as a physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA), with no conditions or undertakings
- A current, valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (community travel is a core part of the role)
- Eligibility to work in Australia. No sponsorships available.
- A current National Police Check, Working with Children Check and RRHAN-EC given our paediatric caseload

What We Offer
- Flexible working arrangements that respect your life outside work

- The chance to grow into the role (and the practice) as we expand
Why PhysioCoach?
We're not your typical clinic. We prioritise impact over numbers, meaningful outcomes and a culture of trust over rigid hierarchy. Joining a growing practice means your voice carries weight, your work is visible, and the path ahead is yours to help shape. If that sounds like the kind of place you've been looking for, let's talk.
