We're looking for a reliable and passionate Cook & Cleaner to join our warm, family-owned childcare centres.

In this rewarding role, you'll prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks that support children's health and wellbeing, while also helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our children, families and team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

- A positive, organised and reliable attitude

- A genuine passion for supporting children's health and wellbeing

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the childcare facility, including classrooms, play areas, and bathrooms.

- Ensure that all areas of the building are tidy, organised, and free from hazards.

- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.

- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of staff areas.

- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the management team promptly.

- Follow all health and safety protocols,



including the protected use of cleaning chemicals and materials.

Key Requirements:

- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a childcare, school, or similar setting.

- Knowledge of hygiene standards and practices, particularly in childcare environments.

- A friendly and approachable attitude, with an understanding of the importance of working around children.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in food preparation (commercial kitchen experience preferred)

- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
