WA Prestige Cabinets is seeking a reliable and motivated Stonemason / Factory & Installation Assistant to join our growing team.
As we prepare to move into new premises, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business entering its next stage of growth. We are known for delivering high-quality cabinetry and stone solutions, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to craftsmanship, professionalism and attention to detail.
Please note: this role will not commence until the week commencing 28 June 2026.
About the Role
As a Stonemason / Factory & Installation Assistant, you will play an important role in the fabrication, handling and installation support of stone products across a range of projects. This role is suited to someone with experience working with stone products who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive team environment.
While installation experience is an advantage, it is not essential, as training and support can be provided to the right candidate. The role will involve both factory-based fabrication work and assisting the installation team on site when required.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Cutting, shaping and polishing marble, granite and engineered stone to templates
• Operating power tools, cutting equipment and machinery
• Assisting with transporting stone benchtops and materials to site
• Assisting with the installation of stone benchtops with a high level of precision and care
• Maintaining quality control throughout fabrication and installation
• Working collaboratively with the wider team while also being able to work autonomously
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have:
• Proven experience in a Stonemason role
• Experience working with marble, granite and engineered stone
• Installation experience is preferred, but not essential
• A reliable, professional and hard-working attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A current full manual driver’s licence
• Forklift licence preferred, but not essential
• A strong commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices
