Guest and Service - WRANGLER

The Guest & Service "Wrangler" is a hands-on, guest-facing role responsible for keeping Sun Ranch looking, feeling and operating at its best throughout the day.

Part hospitality, part property care and part all-rounder, our Wranglers move across the Ranch supporting guest service, F&B;, wellness areas, grounds and daily property operations. From setting up the Pool Club and firing up the sauna, to making / delivering margaritas poolside, feeding the animals or jumping in to support breakfast service — no two days are quite the same.

The role is centred around proactive guest service and property presentation. Wranglers are expected to anticipate what needs doing, keep guest areas clean, stocked and ready to enjoy, and work closely with Ranchers and the wider team to create a seamless guest experience.

We’re looking for someone who is practical, energetic and comfortable getting their hands dirty, while still having the confidence and personality to engage with guests and deliver warm, relaxed Sun Ranch hospitality.

Responsibilities:

As a Ranch Wrangler, you will be the driving force behind curating the perfect experience for our guests.



From firing up the fireplace, setting up the pool club to serving the perfect margarita. Your role encompasses a wide array of tasks, including:

Guest services:

- Interact with guests, offering assistance, answering questions, and promoting additional amenities and experiences to enhance their stay.

- Assist in breakfast set-up, service and packdown.

- Arrange and set up outdoor amenities such as pools, sauna, ice bath, badminton, fireplaces, and fire pits, ensuring they are in prime condition for guest enjoyment.

- Refill firewood at firepits, cabins and fireplaces.

- Light fires daily in winter and when required in summer.

- Towel management: Collect dirty towels from Pools, sauna, ice bath and deliver to laundry.Ensure adequate towels are always available to guests and back up stock ready.

- Gardening / grounds maintenance and care.

- Some other guest services may be required from time to time

F&B; service

- Assists Ranchers (service team) with breakfast setup, service, packdown

- Delivering food and drinks to the pool

- Seeking upsell opportunities and executing sales / service.

- Drinks preparation - cocktails, coffees, other beverages

- Assist with restocking the bars and kitchen during our busy event days

Property maintenance and care





- Assist groundskeeper when required to ensure off grid systems are functioning properly

- Grounds tidy every morning, feed chickens, ducks and horses

- Attach the generator back up if needed on off grid cabins.

- Ensure Jetty, Sauna and ice bath are always super clean and ready to use.

- Assist the team with keeping the field house clean, welcoming and comfortable for guests.

- Gardening maintenance / care.

- Assist with keeping both pools clean, removing leaves, emptying filters/

- Provide support to the groundsmen when needed, including garden maintenance to enhance the natural beauty of the ranch.

- Assist the team with waste management

Team-oriented Teamwork:

- Work within a dynamic team of fellow ranchers and wranglers, sharing a passion for creating extraordinary experiences for our guests.

- Assist all Hotel departments when required.

- Proactive mindset to achieve business service and sales goals.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role, with a knack for outdoor setup and maintenance.

- Strong Hospitality skills, hands-on, jack of all - skills set.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure every amenity is perfectly arranged.

- Not scared to get hands dirty and work outdoors also in not ideal weather conditions.

- Ability to thrive in a customer-facing role, with a natural flair for sales and a genuine passion for guest satisfaction.

- Bar / Restaurant experiences preferred.

- Weekend availability is a must
