Senior Project Engineer / Package Lead (Mechanical or Electrical)
Nettlefold Projects Pty Ltd is a growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy supporting Australia's mining, energy and infrastructure sectors. We partner with some of the country's leading resource and industrial organisations, providing embedded engineering services and multidisciplinary project delivery from feasibility through to commissioning.
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer / Package Lead to join our team on a long-term basis.
This role will initially support a major mining development in Queensland and offers the opportunity to work on projects from the early stages of development through execution.
About the Role
You will play a key role in developing engineering work packages and supporting project delivery, including:
- Developing scopes of work
- Preparing and updating technical specifications
- Preparing technical tender documentation and evaluation criteria
- Coordinating engineering deliverables
- Managing technical interfaces between engineering disciplines
- Supporting procurement and contractor engagement
- Assisting with engineering reviews and design development
- Working closely with project managers, engineering teams and client stakeholders
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
- 8+ years' experience in mining, resources, energy or heavy industry
- Strong experience preparing technical specifications and tender documentation
- Experience managing engineering packages from concept through execution
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Practical, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and within integrated client teams
Experience with brownfield or greenfield mining projects will be highly regarded.
