We provide practical, boots on the ground safety support that strengthens compliance, improves systems and genuinely engages operational teams. Our clients rely on us to supply capable HSE professionals who can step in, add value quickly and integrate with site teams.
Due to continued demand across multiple projects and sites, we are seeking experienced HSE Advisors to join Safetec Group for upcoming and current assignments.
⭐Opportunities
We are seeking candidates for the below type of roles:
• FIFO and DIDO rostered positions
• Perth metro site based roles
• Short term shutdown assignments
• Project based contracts
• Ongoing full time secondments
Assignments vary in duration, from 1–4 week shutdown coverage through to long term placements. We work across a variety of WA sites and industries, allowing flexibility depending on your experience and availability.
Whether you are seeking stable rostered work or flexible project assignments, we are keen to connect. Only WA Applicants will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include:
• Providing frontline HSE advisory support to supervisors and crews
• Conducting risk assessments, JHAs and workplace inspections
• Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
• Maintaining WHS documentation and compliance registers
• Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Supporting audits and client reporting requirements
• Assisting with contractor management and site mobilisation
About You
To be considered, you will demonstrate:
✔ Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety
✔ Minimum 2 years experience in an HSE Advisor or Safety Officer role
✔ Robust working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation
✔ Ability to engage confidently with frontline workers and management
✔ Strong reporting and documentation capability
Desirable:
• Mining, construction, shutdown or heavy industry experience
• ICAM or formal incident investigation training
• Exposure to ISO 45001, 9001 or 14001 environments
• Current WA drivers licence and ability to travel
