About Us
Hielscher Electrical is a locally owned Cairns business delivering solar solutions across Far North Queensland. We’re growing rapid and looking for motivated Trade Assistants to join our great team. Perfect for travellers in Cairns for a few months or recent school graduates ready to start a hands-on career in the electrical industry.
The Role
You’ll work alongside experienced electricians installing solar systems on residential and commercial sites. This is hands-on, outdoor work where no two days are the same.

What We’re Looking For
- Construction or trade-based background (preferred)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual

Skills and Experience Required:
- Working at Heights ticket
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Current Open or Provisional Australian Driver’s License
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in trade industry (preferred, but not essential)
