We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and experienced Aged or Disabled Carer / Disability Support Worker to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting.

- Support clients with mobility, transfers and the use of mobility equipment.

- Prepare meals and assist clients with eating where required.

- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and general household tasks.

- Assist clients with shopping, appointments, transport and community activities.

- Support clients to develop and maintain independence in their daily lives.

- Provide companionship and emotional support.

- Follow individual care plans, NDIS plans and behaviour support strategies.





- Monitor clients’ wellbeing and report any changes or concerns.

- Maintain accurate shift notes, incident reports and client records.

- Work collaboratively with clients, families, carers and other support professionals.

- Follow workplace health and safety, infection control and safeguarding procedures.

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Community Services or a related field.

- At least 12 months of relevant experience supporting people with disability, older people or individuals requiring personal care.

- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.

- Current Working with Vulnerable People registration.

- Current Australian driver’s licence.

- Access to a reliable and insured vehicle.

- Ability to work a adaptable roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.

- Good communication, interpersonal and record-keeping skills.

- A compassionate, respectful and person-centred approach.
