Our business supports farming customers throughout the year with particularly high activity through the Spring and Summer months. As such, our Warehouse and Logistics Team are required to be independent and motivated. Duties will include general store duties within our warehouse locations and local truck deliveries.
This is a full time position based at our Devonport Branch in Tasmania. It presents the successful candidate the opportunity to work across varied locations in a variety of tasks.
We are looking for an experienced storeperson who is highly motivated, energetic, and team-oriented, with the following attributes:
- Must hold a current Medium Rigid Licence (MR) (Heavy Rigid preferred) and a forklift licence
- Experience in driving in tight spaces and varied environments preferred.
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Previous warehouse or store experience is essential – stock receipting, picking and packing, stocktakes and inventory systems
- A qualification in warehousing, logistics or supply chain (e.g. Certificate II/III in Warehousing Operations) will be highly regarded
- Possess the ability to work independently during busy periods
- Have good time management skills
- A commitment to high-quality customer service
- Be comfortable working with computers and applications
- In this role, you are focused on WHS compliance
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the key areas of responsibility will include:
- Safely load /unload stock and check documentation for accuracy
- Logistics and warehousing functions
- Customer Service and deliveries
