Iris Life Care is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Female Domestic Cleaners to join our growing team across Canberra.
In this role, you will provide domestic cleaning support to clients in their homes, helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living setting. This is a flexible casual position suitable for individuals who enjoy meaningful work and supporting others in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform domestic cleaning duties including:
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
- Laundry and linen changes
- General household tidying
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Support clients respectfully within their home environment
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently and professionally
- Report any concerns or hazards to the management team
- Work collaboratively with the wider support team
- Be flexible to travel to different client locations as required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in domestic or residential cleaning
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A reliable,
respectful, and professional approach
- Well-developed English communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability for flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends
- Candidates working under ABN arrangements will be preferred
Mandatory Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card
- Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Police Check
