Seeking an Accounts Officer (Accounts Relievable)

This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and customer-focused Finance Team responsible for delivering high-quality accounts receivable and finance administration services. Working closely with the Finance Manager and broader Business Office team, you'll play an key role in maintaining accurate financial records, providing excellent customer service and contributing to the continuous improvement of the School's finance processes and systems.

This is a full-time, ongoing position. We are looking to welcome the successful candidate to the team as soon as practicable, with flexibility around the commencement date to accommodate notice periods and support a smooth transition.

What You Will Do

As a key member of the Professional Services team, reporting to the Finance Manager, you will:

Manage accounts receivable activities, including tuition and commercial debtor invoicing, debtor maintenance and payment processing. Complete daily bank reconciliations,



journals and other financial transactions accurately and in accordance with School policies. Support month-end and year-end financial processes through reconciliations, reporting and accurate record keeping. Respond to enquiries from parents, staff and other stakeholders, providing professional, timely and customer-focused service. Maintain accurate financial records and identify opportunities to improve finance processes and systems. Work collaboratively across the Finance Team to support projects and other operational priorities as required.

Who You Are

You are a detail-oriented and customer-focused finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely financial administration. You are organised, adaptable and committed to providing high-quality service while contributing to a positive team environment.

You Will Bring

Experience in accounts receivable, financial administration or a similar finance environment. Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience. Strong organisational skills and a high level of accuracy, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders. Well-developed digital skills, including Microsoft Excel and financial management systems. A collaborative approach,



a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A current Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one) and a commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
