We are currently seeking a passionate and experience full-time Duty Manager - Food & Beverage to join our leadership team.

You’ll lead from the front, keeping our food and beverage operations humming, our standards high and our guests coming back for more. You’ll drive performance, spot opportunities and never be afraid to try something current to lift the experience. From busy service periods to major events, you’ll juggle it all with confidence, bringing energy, calm and a bit of flair along the way.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day Oval Hotel food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfactionLead, coach and develop front-of-house hospitality teams to achieve outstanding operational performanceDrive the profitable delivery of all food and beverage services while meeting business objectives and financial targetsMonitoring labour costs, operating expenses and venue performance to maximise productivity and profitabilityDevelop workforce plans and staff rosters to support operational requirements and customer demandOversee inventory control,



purchasing supplier relationships and stock management to maintain product quality and cost efficiencyIntroduce innovative food and beverage initiatives, promotions and service improvements that enhance the guest experience and grow revenue.Prepare operational reports, forecasts and business performance analysis for senior management.

Your Skills And Experience

Previous experience managing food and beverage operations within a hotel, restaurant or premium hospitality environmentA natural leader who knows how to bring out the best in peopleA genuine passion for hospitality and great serviceStrong communication skills and the ability to build great team cultureExperience across events and busy, high-volume environmentsThe ability to stay cool under pressure and keep things movingA team-first mindset, with the confidence to work independently when needed

This is a hands-on hospitality leadership role, so you’ll need to be available for nights, weekends and public holidays.
