Artisan Food & Drinks is seeking a Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, full- time Retail Sales Representative for the Perth Metro - mainly around north and east metro areas.

*Note we can look at a Monday to Thursday, 4-days role also for the right person.

Who we are…. We are a wholesale food and drink distributor to the WA food and drink industry - selling to independent retailers, chefs, caterers and cafes, casinos, and stadiums. We are a young company, only 14 years old, operating solely throughout Western Australia and have built our reputation on a commitment to quality products and 100% customer service.

What we sell amongst others... Remedy Kombucha, Sodaly Drinks, Beerenberg, Fever-Tree drinks, Chefs Choice, Waves & Caves, Rok Kombucha, First Press Coffee, Torres Potato Chips, Olssons. These products are not a hard sell.

Who we sell to... Some of our customers include Farmer Jacks, The Valuable Grocers, IGAs and Tucker Fresh groups.

Whats the role... You will be responsible for driving business in the RETAIL sector. We are already well established with a weekly and fortnightly run of stores. You will be servicing existing customers, finding gaps, showing new products and establishing opportunities with the goal of getting our full portfolio ranges into each of your allocated stores.

We service independent grocers and groups and feature in every department - heavily in dairy & grocery.



The ideal candidate will already know these customers and have experience with them and with talking to store managers and dairy and grocery managers.

To be successful in this role you will require experience in retail sales in Perth and have the ability to sell and get on with most people. You know the market and you know the people within it and you know how to sell.

Qualities and attributes required for this role will include:

- An ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers

- The ability to plan your own day to day sales activities, work autonomously, report daily via phone / occasional meetings with the sales manager, reporting weekly to the team on successes and opportunities

- Ability to learn all our products and sell to stores, keeping updated on stock levels in stores and finding gaps

- Assisting customers with relays / stock rotations

You will need to possess a full clean driver's license driving to stores daily to take orders and upsell. Orders are delivered within a few days by our warehouse team.

This role offers a competitive salary which will be dependent upon the candidate's experience, skill level and abilities. Competitive salary + superannuation and phone. A car can be provided fully maintained or we can provide reimbursement for use of your own vehicle.

Your orders are placed via emails to the office - so being quick and accurate with an iphone is a must!
