Due to continued growth, this South Australian owned company is looking for an experienced Electrical Draftsperson with Design experience to join their team. You will design and draft the best solutions in line with client project requirements in the Mechanical Services, BMS, and construction industry.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Project Managers, this role will be responsible for assisting with projects from the early stages of contract award to final as installed drawings and compliance documents.

Your responsibilities will include creating detailed field wiring diagrams, cable schedules, cable size calculations and ITP/ITC compliance documents using CAD and other related software packages, to ensure the projects are wired and documented to Australian Standards .

The applicant will be a self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and an ability to work in a team environment to support the continued growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

- Interpreting and analysing consultant drawings,



specifications and BMS points lists.

- Create detailed drawings, schematics and diagrams for field wiring and control panel installations. Adhering to the Australian standards.

- Experience and knowledge in variable speed drives, HVAC systems, BMS systems, and control circuits

- Complete design calculations such as fault current, cable selection, volt drop, protective device selection

- Liaise with key stakeholders - clients, estimators, project management, workshop personnel, and suppliers

Relevant Skills:

- Electrical licence or sound knowledge and a background in the Mechanical Services / HVAC / BMS industry

- The ability to interpret the current switchboards standard AS/NZS 61439, AS 3000 and local service rules.

- Great attention to detail.

- Adaptable and adaptable approach to work - a can do attitude
