OAPL Bentley is a successful privately owned Australian subsidiary of the OPED Group of Companies. We are a leading Australian provider of Prosthetic and Orthotic clinical services and products.
We are seeking an experienced, productive Receptionist/ Administrator with a passion for Customer Service and excellent organisational skills to join our energetic & friendly team, based at our newly built facility.
As the Receptionist/Administrator your role is critical in supporting the day to day running of the busy practice and ensuring a commitment to the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and customers.
- Coordinate daily administrative functions / Reception duties including but not limited to; greeting patients, diary/calendar management for the clinic, processing payments & receipts, phone system management and providing support.
- Portray professionalism and integrity along with demonstrating behaviour and attitude that is in line with the company’s core values.
- Update and maintain confidential information databases to a high standard, in line with company policies and audit requirements. Experience in Cliniko would be favourable.
- Manage funder invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely processing.
- Handle patient complaints professionally, ensuring all matters are managed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee the cleanliness, organization, and restocking of patient and staff amenities, including common areas,
waiting rooms, and treatment rooms.
- Undertake ad hoc projects and provide administrative support as required to assist daily operations.
- Manage inventory, including stock ordering, receiving deliveries, and maintaining work in progress tubs.
- Coordinate product returns and supplier credits, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and processed promptly.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other external stakeholders to support smooth operations and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Prepare and dispatch goods using online freight and courier platforms, including StarTrack.
Required Skills
- Previous experience working within a health environment/clinic will be advantageous.
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with patients and staff members in a clear and concise manner – both verbally and written. This includes working remotely with our Melbourne head office.
- Ability to work under pressure - no two days are ever the same at our clinics!
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to plan, manage & prioritise a busy workload.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You will be required to apply for an NDIS Workers Screening Check
