General Public Food Co Scarborough is on the hunt for two legends to join our leadership team – a Cafe Manager and a Restaurant Manager – who are looking for their next challenging role within the hospitality industry. Who we are:

At GP we are ‘here for the ‘hood’. Not only do we sling amazing sourdough pizzas, serve up great coffee, provide the hood with fresh cinnie scrolls and an amazing beer selection, we are here for the community! To us community is everything. We built GP as a venue where people from all walks of life could come and connect, and we’ve always looked for small ways to give back and support the ‘hood beyond our doors.

The roles:

Our Cafe Manager will lead the daytime cafe service – think coffee, brunch, our famous cinnie scrolls and a buzzing front of house. Our Restaurant Manager will run our evening dining and bar service – sourdough pizzas, a cracking beer selection and great hospitality. Both roles are hands-on leadership positions, and we’re happy to hear from you if you’d suit either one.

A successful applicant (for either role) will display the following:

- Loves to work in a team environment





- Prides themselves on a high standard and strong work ethic

- Has experience in similar role

- Available a variety of days including weekends, as well as morning and nights

- A Current WA RSA is a must and ideally an Approved Managers License

- Respectful and Honest

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Leadership: Inspiring and inspiring a diverse team to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

- Venue Operations: Managing day-to-day cafe and/or restaurant operations including order processing, guest service, staff training and rostering.

- POS and Admin support: Tracking sales, inventory and generate reports. Familiarity with POS systems and Inventory Systems is desired but not required.

- Budget and Cost Control: Managing financial performance by optimising costs and monitoring budgets
