About the Role

As Production Supervisor within our Paint Shop Department, you'll be responsible for supervising shift operations and output, while ensuring safety standards, quality, and a strong team culture are maintained at all times.

- Supervise shift operations, achieving agreed output targets and production schedules
- Ensure paint and coating application processes meet specified quality, colour, and film thickness standards
- Oversee the correct use, storage, and disposal of paints, thinners, and hazardous substances in line with SDS and safety requirements
- Oversee spray booth operations, extraction/ventilation systems, and PPE compliance across the team
- Lead, roster, and allocate shift labour to meet production targets
- Promote a solid culture of teamwork, safety, quality, and cost control
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and shift reporting to management
- Maintain a well-organised, compliant facility with strong housekeeping standards
- Coordinate with other shift supervisors to promote a consistent teamwork culture

To play a part in our continued expansion and success, we are seeking someone who ideally has:

- Strong supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or related industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High Risk Work Licence in CB, DG, LF classes

In addition, the following would be considered highly advantageous:

- Experience with industrial spray painting or protective coatings in a manufacturing environment
- Cert 4 in OH&S; or other relevant OH&S; certification well regarded
- Knowledge of safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous substances.
