Seeking Permanent Part-Time Medical Administration / Receptionist to join our team.

About the Role
This is a permanent part time position working Thursdays and Fridays, 10:00am–6:00pm.
You will also participate in our rotating Saturday morning roster, currently approximately one Saturday every seven weeks, finishing at 12:30pm.
We are ideally looking for someone who wants to settle into the role for the long term and values the consistency and work-life balance offered by a permanent two-day-per-week position.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- 1–2 years' recent experience in medical reception or a similar healthcare administration role in Western Australia
- A professional, calm and welcoming manner
- A genuine commitment to providing a high standard of patient service with compassion, discretion and respect
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to multitask, prioritise and remain organised in a busy General Practice environment
- A strong understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy
- Reliability and a willingness to contribute as part of a close-knit team
- A recent direct manager or supervisor who can provide a professional reference is highly desirable
Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients and managing telephone and in-person enquiries
- Booking, changing and managing patient appointments
- Maintaining accurate patient and administrative records
- Completing reception and general administrative duties
- Working collaboratively with doctors, nurses, reception and management
- Contributing equitably to the day-to-day workload of the reception team
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
- Following practice policies and procedures
- Assisting with the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the practice
