The Role
We are seeking reliable production operatives with a strong work ethic and positive attitude to join our operation at our factory in Cavan, South Australia.
We have both a part time, full-time and casual position available.
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our production team as Rotational Moulding Operators, initially on either a part time or full time casual basis with full-time permanency after a successful probation period.
Reporting to the production Manager, you will operate rotational moulding machines to manufacture thermoplastic products. Your role will ensure that product quality and productivity meet the high standards of Bushman's.
You'll also assist with the maintenance and upkeep of site equipment to keep our operations running smoothly.
Production / Factory Key Responsibilities
- Operate rotational moulding machines to produce quality products.
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to quality standards.
- Assist in maintaining site equipment and performing periodic maintenance.
- Accurately complete all required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organised,
and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Commitment to safety and quality in the workplace.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures.
- Valid high-risk work licence (Forklift).
- Physical fitness to lift and move up to 25kg regularly.
- Right to live and work in Australia.
Personal Attributes
- Motivated, honest and reliable.
- Willing to ask questions and eager to learn.
- Adaptable to change and open to training.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team-oriented with a respectful approach to colleagues.
- Willingness to undergo and pass drug and alcohol testing (initial and random).
Skills and Experience
- A mechanical aptitude and interest.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Prior experience in rotational moulding is a bonus but not essential.
- Good time management and punctuality.
- Factory experience is advantageous but not required.
