About the Role
Aramex is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager - Central QLD to lead the operational performance of our Mackay and Capricorn Coast branches. This role requires you to take ownership of day-to-day operations across the region, providing leadership to depot teams, company drivers, customer service employees, and Courier Franchisees.
You will drive operational excellence, service performance, safety and compliance, while fostering high-performing teams, strengthening franchisee relationships, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes that support sustainable business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop operational teams and Courier Franchisees.
- Drive service excellence through effective management of operational KPIs.
- Oversee daily depot operations, freight movements, and delivery performance.
- Build solid franchisee relationships while ensuring compliance and accountability.
- Identify and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, customer experience, and profitability.
- Manage operational costs, budgets, and performance reporting.
- Champion workplace health, safety, and compliance across the region.
- Resolve operational, customer, and service-related issues effectively.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in operations management within logistics, transport, courier, or a similar environment.
- Strong leadership experience managing diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success driving operational performance and achieving KPI targets.
- Sound financial acumen, including budgeting and cost management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Current Driver Licence.
