Education Business Services (EBS) is the key provider of professional business services and support for Western Australian public schools, statutory boards and divisions of the Department. These highly valued services are delivered through the areas of finance, information and communication technologies (ICT), and infrastructure. The Infrastructure division has responsibility for the planning and provision of facilities (land, buildings and equipment), which includes land planning, student enrolment forecasting and facilities planning, strategic asset management, capital works programs, maintenance and minor works programs and provision of facilities related services.

The Role

As an Administration Officer you will provide clerical and administrative support to the Principal Project Officers and staff, including basic research. You will arrange meetings, prepare and distributes meeting agendas and minutes and undertake follow-up actions when required. You will also respond to telephone calls, visitor enquiries, diary appointments, e-mail and other communications.

Applicants with experience maintain an effective correspondence filing system for corporate information and records relating to projects, initiatives, committees and other related activities are encouraged to apply. The role will include maintaining financial data, assisting with budget preparation and preparing expenditure reports

The successful applicant will ideally have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to liaise and build working relationships with individuals at all levels. In this role you will assist with travel arrangements, including preparing travel documents and booking flights and accommodation. As well as undertake payment of accounts, credit card reconciliation and purchasing requirements.
