As an experienced member of the team, you'll mentor and support the next generation of Underground Health, Safety & Training professionals, sharing your knowledge and helping build the capability that will support our operations for years to come.

In this role you'll:

- Partner with operational teams to drive a proactive safety culture

- Coach and mentor developing Health, Safety & Training personnel

- Train and assess underground employees

- Conduct investigations and support continuous improvement initiatives

- Develop and review risk assessments and site procedures

- Assist with injury management and rehabilitation processes

- Support compliance with legislative and company safety systems

- Contribute to leadership across multiple operational disciplines

What you'll bring

We're looking for experienced underground professionals from a variety of Health, Safety and Training backgrounds.

Whether your experience is primarily in Health & Safety, Training, or a combination of both, we'd like to hear from you.

- Underground operational experience – We welcome applicants with a range of experience levels,



with opportunities available from developing professionals through to highly experienced underground specialists.

- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety

- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)

- Solid understanding of underground mining operations

- Excellent communication and coaching skills

- Australian working rights

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

If you already hold one qualification and are interested in expanding your capability into the other discipline, Byrnecut will support the right candidates to obtain the additional qualifications required.
