JDG Contracting and Maintenance is seeking experienced Mobile Crushing Plant Operators to join our team working across the Goldfields and Pilbara regions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated operator who can work autonomously and hit the ground running.
About the Role
Working on a 2/1 FIFO roster, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile crushing equipment on-site, along with supporting plant operations including excavator and loader work and rock breaking duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mobile crushing plant equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate excavators (diggers) and loaders as required
- Perform rock breaking duties
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on plant and equipment
- Monitor crusher performance and troubleshoot operational issues
- Work autonomously and use initiative to manage day-to-day tasks in office
- Maintain a solid focus on safety, quality, and productivity at all times
About You
- Proven experience operating mobile crushing plants (essential)
- Experience operating excavators/diggers and loaders
- Experience with rock breaking equipment
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative with minimal supervision
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of crushing plant operations
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a small, tight-knit team
- Willingness and availability to work a 2/1 roster in remote WA locations
Requirements
- Relevant tickets/licences for plant and equipment operation
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
