Duty Manager | Stories – Yagan Square

The Venue

No two shifts at Stories are ever the same.

Pourhouse is our industrial-inspired brew hall, featuring live music, DJs, private functions and one of the city's best atmospheres for casual dining and drinks.

Stories Front Yard is the largest beer garden in the Perth CBD, complete with an outdoor bar, giant screen, children's playground and a relaxed Australian-inspired setting.

Stories Rooftop sits above the precinct with panoramic city views, lush gardens, multiple bars, a retractable roof and one of Perth's premier rooftop destinations, hosting DJs and entertainment late into the night.

From corporate events and family lunches to packed Friday nights and rooftop parties, you'll be part of a venue that never stands still.

About the Role

As a Duty Manager, you'll be responsible for leading shifts across multiple outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while developing and inspiring your team.

You'll work closely with Venue Managers, Directors and our Group Operations team to maintain high operational standards, drive service excellence and contribute to the ongoing success of the venue.

About You

You'll bring:

- A charismatic, energetic personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.

- Previous management experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar or entertainment venue.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop your team.

- High standards for service, presentation and professionalism.

- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

- Confidence working collaboratively with Venue Managers, Directors and support teams.

- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

- A current Approved Manager's Card.

- Full Australian working rights.

Minimum two years' management experience in a comparable fast-paced hospitality venue is essential.
