Reintegration Intake Officer – Part-Time, Fixed-Term Contract to 30 June 2027

Our Reintegration Support Service supports people returning to their communities after prison by helping them reconnect with family, culture and essential services that promote successful reintegration.

As our Reintegration Intake Officer, you will support this work by coordinating referrals, maintaining accurate client records and providing high-quality administrative support.

About the Role

This is a part-time, fixed-term opportunity working 25 to 30 hours per week (negotiable for the right candidate). The contract is expected to conclude on 30 June 2027, with the possibility of ongoing employment, including full-time hours, subject to future funding and service requirements.

As the Reintegration Intake Officer, you will provide vital administrative support to the Reintegration Support Team by coordinating referrals, managing intake processes, maintaining accurate client records and preparing documentation and reports. Working closely with the Senior Reintegration Manager and Reintegration Support Workers, you will help ensure our administrative systems support the delivery of high-quality services.

Working closely with the Senior Reintegration Manager and Reintegration Support Workers, you will ensure client information is accurately recorded, referrals are processed efficiently and administrative systems operate smoothly to support quality service delivery.

In this role, you will:

- Coordinate referrals, client intake, appointment scheduling and maintain accurate client records and administrative systems.

- Prepare reports and documentation to support program delivery and contractual reporting.

- Ensure client records are complete and follow up outstanding information.





- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Reintegration Support Team.

- Build positive relationships with internal staff, referral agencies and community partners.

- Support continuous improvement and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

About You

You are an organised and detail-oriented administrator who enjoys supporting others and takes pride in maintaining accurate records and efficient administrative systems. You can manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality and build positive working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous experience in an administration, intake, client services or business support role.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.

- Excellent attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records, databases and documentation.

- Well-developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn current systems.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

- A collaborative approach with the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.

- An understanding of culturally safe practice and the ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal people and communities.

- A commitment to providing high-quality administrative support that contributes to positive client outcomes.

The successful candidate will also be required to obtain:

- A Department of Justice Criminal History Screening.

- A National Police Clearance.

- A Working with Children Check.

- A current Australian Driver's Licence.

Remuneration and Benefits

We offer:

- SCHADS Award Level 3 salary of $80,008.24 to $85,787.92 per annum (pro-rata).

- Five (5) weeks annual leave,



inclusive of leave loading.
