Taylor Construction Group is a tier 2 head contractor delivering commercial construction projects across NSW. We build long-term relationships with clients, communities and government stakeholders, and we're looking for people who bring both strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery to complex projects.

The role

Based at Head Office in North Sydney with time on project sites, you'll lead stakeholder engagement strategy and delivery for a live project, acting as the central point of contact for clients, government, community and the public.

Reporting to the Head of Design, you'll manage the end-to-end complaints process, lead community consultation on planned works, and represent Taylor Project Teams in negotiations with councils and authorities.

About you

- Degree in communications, public relations, urban planning or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience leading stakeholder or community engagement on construction or infrastructure projects




- Solid understanding of NSW local government approval processes and community consultation requirements
- Experience owning complaints management, including noise or amenity related matters
- Experience managing budgets and, where applicable, direct reports
- The ability to operate autonomously and represent the project in negotiations with authorities and senior client representatives

Responsibilities and capabilities

- Develop, implement and evaluate the Stakeholder Engagement Strategy across Taylor projects
- Establish and maintain a stakeholder contact database and CRM for enquiries and complaints
- Own community engagement and notification for planned works, including noise generating activities
- Manage relationships and negotiations with local councils and relevant authorities
- Provide monthly reporting to the Head of Design and senior project leadership
- Comply with Taylor's WHSE Management System and Project Management Plan requirements
