At the National Transport Research Organisation (NTRO), we help governments and industry make better transport infrastructure decisions through applied research, technical expertise, data-driven insights and practical solutions.

We are seeking an experienced transport infrastructure professional to join our Adelaide office as a Senior Leader. This role is ideal for someone who combines robust technical credibility with commercial acumen and enjoys building trusted client relationships, identifying opportunities and delivering high-quality outcomes.

You will work closely with clients across roads, rail, ports and airports, helping organisations improve asset performance, investment decisions and long-term infrastructure outcomes

Main duties of the role:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with transport infrastructure clients across South Australia
- Identify, develop and convert opportunities for new and repeat business.
- Provide strategic asset management advice and practical solutions to government and industry clients
- Lead the preparation of proposals, technical reports and client presentations.
- Manage project delivery, client expectations and commercial outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across transport infrastructure projects.

About you

- Degree-qualified in Engineering, Asset Management, Infrastructure Management or a related discipline
- Min 10 years experience and involvement in the transport industry - ideally both in private and public sector.
- Asset management experience within the rail,



port or airport pavements highly desirable
- Proven ability to identify business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
- Have extensive contacts and experience working in government transport setting.
