QGS Quality Geotechnical Services Pty Ltd established in the Hunter and Central Coast Regions. We have many projects commencing 2026-2027, as well as our ongoing/current projects. We focus on “local work” Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developments. Employees are based at our office and materials testing laboratory in Morisset NSW.

We are currently seeking self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic Soil Technicians join our team.

Full-time and Casual positions are available.

Main tasks:

- As a Soil Technician, you will be required to undertake both field and laboratory testing across a broad range of test methods

- Liaise with internal staff and contractors/clients

- Follow site Health & Safety procedures

Relevant skills:

- Strong analytical skills

- Strong work ethic and reliability





- Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling

- Strong knowledge of Australian & TfNSW Test Methods

- Positive verbal and written communication skills.

- Self-motivation with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Level 1 Supervision experience advantageous

Relevant experience:

- Positions available for all experience levels

Licence, registration or professional membership

- Radiation Nuke Licence

- OHS Construction White Card

- Drivers Licence
