Assured Learning Australia is looking for an experienced automotive professional to join our small training team on a flexible part-time basis.
The role will provide additional trainer coverage across heavy vehicle apprenticeships and automotive air-conditioning courses. It would suit someone who enjoys sharing their industry knowledge and supporting apprentices and experienced automotive workers.
This is an additional position to support our current training capacity, including course coverage, workplace visits and planned leave
About the role
Your duties may include:
- Delivering heavy vehicle apprenticeship training and assessment
- Delivering automotive air-conditioning courses
- Conducting apprentice workplace visits
- Assessing practical and knowledge-based activities
- Providing learners with clear feedback
- Completing required learner and assessment records
- Working with administration to support compliant course delivery
Hours and working arrangements can be discussed based on availability and business needs.
Essential requirements
- Relevant heavy vehicle automotive trade qualification and experience
- Current TAE training and assessment credential accepted under the applicable RTO standards
- Current WA driver’s licence
- Professional communication and a practical approach to training
- Ability to complete required assessment documentation
Desirable but not essential
- Previous RTO training and assessment experience
- Experience supporting apprentices in the workplace
- Familiarity with AUR31120 or AUR20220
- Experience with RPL or assessment validation
