My Goal Disability Services is seeking reliable and professional Disability Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) teams.

We have casual opportunities available across our Supported Independent Living services, with regular shifts available for the right candidates. Employees who consistently demonstrate reliability, professionalism and strong performance may have the opportunity to transition to a permanent part-time position as opportunities arise.

In this role, you'll support adult participants with daily living, personal care, community access, medication assistance, behaviour support and overnight sleepovers, helping them live safely and independently in their own homes.

About the Role

You'll be part of a professional team supporting adults with disability to live safely and independently in their own homes. This is a hands on role that includes:

- Personal care and daily living support

- Medication administration

- Positive Behaviour Support implementation

- Community access and appointments

- Accurate daily documentation and reporting

- Inactive overnight sleepovers

Some participants may display behaviours of concern, so confidence, resilience, sound judgement and professionalism are essential.

Essential Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain

- National Police Check completed within the last 6 months

- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) or willingness to obtain

- A current drivers licence (minimum of a P2) and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate of completion

- Two professional referees

- Availability for overnight sleepovers and ability to work across a 24/7 roster

- Strong written communication and documentation skills

- High attention to detail in medication management and participant supports

- Ability to follow behaviour support plans and safe work practices

- Commitment to safeguarding, professionalism and appropriate boundaries

- Experience in SIL supporting people with autism, psychosocial disability, behaviours of concern or other complex support needs is highly regarded.
