'A Cut Above' is more than a statement. It's the standard we hold ourselves to. It drives everything we do, from delivering high-quality products and providing industry-leading customer service to supporting one another as a team. We believe in doing what we say we'll do, every time.
About the Role
We are seeking a team player who enjoys working autonomously, can think on their feet and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a warehouse or depot environment, including stock management and compliance responsibilities, who has proven leadership capability, strong time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritise competing demands.
The successful candidate will enjoy supporting others, have strong attention to detail, solve problems effectively and lead by example. They will bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine desire to nurture the growth of those around them while contributing to process improvement. Experience within manufacturing, food production, warehousing, logistics or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded.

We supply food service customers and supermarkets, while also operating our own retail butcher shop. As such, this role is best suited to someone who understands the importance of food safety and hygiene and is committed to maintaining high standards.

- Ensure storage areas (approximately six) are kept clean, neat and orderly at all times
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Ensure fleet vehicles are maintained in accordance with company standards
- Maintain and actively contribute to the improvement of our scanning system and inventory control
This role would suit a passionate and driven individual who is:
- Motivated, positive and reliable
- Detail-focused with a high level of accuracy
- Organised with robust time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands

- An effective communicator who demonstrates integrity
- Accountable and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities
- Thinks on their feet and offers meaningful solutions
- Comfortable using technology, inventory systems and learning new software
- Enjoys leading by example and supporting team members to achieve operational goals
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Has a strong desire to add value to our workplace
- Experience within the meat industry would be highly regarded but is not essential
The environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. This role requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling duties, including heavy lifting.
Candidates must also be comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments, including chilled areas (approximately 1°C) and freezer environments (approximately -18°C) as required.
Successful candidates must be willing to complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
A satisfactory National Police Clearance will also be required as part of the recruitment process.
