Range Ford is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Trainee Sales Consultant to join our high-performing team in Maddington.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced automotive professionals, receive ongoing training and build a successful sales career with one of Australia’s most recognised vehicle brands. Previous automotive sales experience is not required—we’re looking for the right attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine ambition to succeed.
What you’ll be doing
- Learning the complete vehicle sales process with support from an experienced team
- Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Understanding each customer’s needs, preferences and buying criteria
- Providing detailed information and advice across the Ford vehicle range
- Assisting customers with vehicle selection and purchase decisions
- Conducting vehicle presentations, demonstrations and test drives
- Following up customer enquiries, referrals and sales leads
- Developing new business through proactive customer contact
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of available vehicles, features and benefits
- Completing sales paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Liaising with the Pre-Delivery team to coordinate vehicle handovers
- Ensuring every customer receives an exceptional dealership experience
- Working towards agreed sales targets as your knowledge and experience develop
What we’re looking for

- The confidence to engage with customers from different backgrounds
- Motivation to learn, develop and achieve sales targets
- Strong organisation and follow-up skills
- Sound computer skills and professional email communication
- A current WA driver’s licence
- The ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Previous customer service, hospitality, retail or sales experience will be highly regarded
