The Opportunity
We are seeking a sales skilled preferably with a trade background and knowledge of welding and cutting products to identify and secure new customers as well as maximising business opportunities within the existing customer base in the Adelaide metropolitan area and Regional South Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
- Promote welding equipment, consumables, and related products
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and sales presentations
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales leads
- Achieve sales targets and KPI objectives
- Provide technical advice and product support to customers
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service
The Candidate
You will have sales experience in industrial, welding, engineering, or manufacturing industries with strong communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to work independently and manage territory effectively and demonstrate a self-motivated and proactive attitude is essential.
Technical knowledge of welding equipment and consumables is advantageous as is a high level of computer literacy. A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel with overnight stays is essential.
This opportunity would be ideal for a trade qualified, focused sales professional who has credibility in the marketplace through hands on experience, is a strong networker who can work autonomously and achieve set goals.
