THE ROLES

Teachers are responsible for providing quality content and continuity of learning experiences for students; the delivery of best quality programs, teaching and learning activities and the achievement of student outcomes for all students within the subject area.

HSIE

Trinity Anglican College is seeking a passionate and experienced teacher to join our dedicated and talented HSIE team. This opportunity is offered as an ongoing full time (or part time position) commencing Term 1 2027.

Teach a range of HSIE courses including:

- Stage 4 and 5 History and/or Geography,

- Stage 5 elective subjects,

- Stage 6 HSIE courses – ability to teach Society and Culture is highly desirable.

SCIENCE

The Science Teacher at Trinity Anglican College is a passionate and proficient educator with the ability to teach across Years 7-10 Science and Stage 6 Science courses.

Teaching qualifications and experience with a specialisation in Chemistry and/or Physics are essential for this role.

TAS

Teaching TAS curriculum including Mandatory Technology, Stage 5 Timber and/or iStem, and any of the following Stage 6 subjects: Design and Technology, Engineering, VET Construction.





The successful candidate in this position must be able to teach Mandatory Technology. Experience in, or ability to teach, Stage 6 Design and Technology and/or Engineering and/or VET Construction is highly desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Possess appropriate tertiary qualifications for this position.

- NESA Accreditation to teach (accreditation at a minimum of Proficient Accreditation will be advantageous).

- Current Working with Children Check and National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).

- Current First Aid certificate is desirable.

SKILLS

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining cooperative partnerships within an organisation.

- Skilled in negotiating conflicting interests to ensure a positive outcome.

- Be a team player with experience working within a team and independently.

- Well-organised and committed.

- Creative and energetic.

REMUNERATION

Terms and Conditions of employment will be in accordance with the ‘Anglican Schools Commission Inc. NSW Enterprise Agreement 2023’. Remuneration will be determined by the Principal according to qualifications and experience.
