Total Waste Solutions is a 100% locally owned and operated waste management leader. Since 2008, we have delivered reliable municipal and commercial services across Metropolitan Melbourne 7 days a week. As a trusted local government contractor since 2010, we keep our communities clean. Our main depot is centrally located in Moorabbin.

We are seeking a fit, reliable, motivated and skilled HR Truck Driver and Hard Waste Collector. The role will include operating our up-to-date fleet and perform hard waste collections for our municipal clients.

The role:

- Full-time role, based out of our Moorabbin Depot

- Start time 5.30am

- Above-award annual salary plus superannuation

- Operating rear load collection vehicles

Daily tasks include:

- Driving Heavy Rigid vehicles safely located around Melbourne’s Inner South East.

- Manually collecting municipal hard waste items up to 20kg in a two-person crew.

- Performing daily pre-start and post-run vehicle inspections.





- Reporting vehicle and equipment maintenance issues promptly.

- Following collection schedules and service routes.

- Providing high-level customer service to residents and Council.

- Potential for paid overtime available

What You Need:

- Licence: Current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence is mandatory.

- Fitness: Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting, up to 20kg.

- Experience: Background in manual waste handling is preferred.

- Assets: Experience with rear-lift or hook-lift trucks is highly regarded.

- Safety: White Card, Red Card, and a First Aid Certificate.
