Echuca Regional Health is seeking an experienced and innovative pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team as Senior Pharmacist - Medication Safety & Education.
This exciting senior leadership position offers the opportunity to shape the future of medication safety, clinical education and quality improvement across a progressive regional health service. Working closely with the Pharmacy Leadership Team, you will lead initiatives that enhance patient safety, strengthen workforce capability, and drive excellence in medication management throughout the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
· Lead medication safety programs and quality improvement initiatives across the organisation.
· Develop, deliver and evaluate pharmacy education and training programs for pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams
· Champion best-practice medication management and support innovative digital health and pharmacy service developments.
· Collaborate with senior leaders to implement strategic, operational and educational priorities.
· Design and implement quality improvement and risk management activities, including presentations and reporting at local, state and national forums
· Provide clinical pharmacy services as required, including participation in on-call and weekend rosters.
Qualifications/experience required:
· Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA, Membership of AdPha (or international equivalent).
· Minimum 8 years post-registration hospital pharmacy experience, including at least 3 years as a Grade 2 pharmacist (or equivalent).
· Demonstrated experience in medication safety, clinical education, quality improvement or implementation of new initiatives.
