About the Role
No two days are the same. As a Personal Care Worker you'll provide person-centred support that helps our clients remain independent and continue living in the comfort of their own homes.
Duties may include:
- Personal care including showering,
dressing and grooming
- Assistance with mobility and transfers
- Medication prompts
- Meal preparation and light household duties
- Shopping and community access
- Social support and companionship
- Dementia support
- Recording accurate case notes and reporting any concerns
About You
You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and treats every client with dignity, respect and kindness.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Caring, patient and compassionate
- Reliable and qualified
- A great communicator
- Able to work independently and manage their time effectively
- Passionate about helping older people live independently
- Positive, adaptable and committed to providing exceptional care
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Check
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Right to work in Australia
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- 18 years of age or older
- Six months or more experience in community aged care or disability support
- Experience supporting people living with dementia
- Knowledge of person-centred care practices
