Established in 2004 and proudly family-owned, Peak ARE specialises in commercial and industrial Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Electrical Services across North Queensland.

Our purpose-built Head Office at 350 Bayswater Road features state-of-the-art facilities, including an in-house sheet-metal workshop and modern staff amenities—supporting long-term growth, collaboration, and a team of over 80 skilled professionals.

About the Role:

You’ll be working on a variety of custom fabrication and installation projects, using your trade skills across cutting, folding, welding, and assembling sheet metal components. You'll be part of a supportive, safety-focused team that values attention to detail and getting the job done right.

Key Responsibilities:





- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans

- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components using hand and power tools

- Operate CNC machinery, press brakes, guillotines, and welding equipment

- Ensure quality standards are met across all jobs

- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

- Follow all WHS guidelines and safe work practices

What You’ll Need:

- Trade qualification in Sheet Metal or Metal Fabrication (Cert III)

- Proven experience in fabrication and installation work

- Strong attention to detail and quality control

- Ability to read technical drawings and follow specifications

- Own hand tools and reliable transport (desirable)

- White Card and relevant tickets (e.g. EWP, forklift) a bonus
