We have an opening for the following roles based near Darwin, NT 16 x Casual Guest Services / Food and Beverage / Kitchen / Maintenance Attendants (as per Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020, Grade 2, Level 2 Approximate commencement date is October 2026. This job will run for 6
- 9 months.
During this period you will receive at least 120 hours per 4 weeks. The job may have wide-ranging responsibilities and duties which may include:
- Superior food quality and presentation
- Ensure at all times drink and food is delivered to the highest standard
- Day to day upkeep of bar and food facilities to meet the required standards
- Work with park managers/chef for all bar supply orders.
As well as:
- Cleaning resort accommodation and facilities in accordance with the required cleaning standards, policies and procedures
- Use designated chemicals and cleaning products for each task
- Observe and report maintenance items
- Conduct a periodic ‘deep clean’ of the room
As well as
- completing food production and cleaning tasks as directed
- working with all kitchen employees to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in the kitchen including cleaning cooking and general utensils used in a kitchen and restaurant
- ensures the standard and quality of food production is maintained at a high standard
- assisting employees who are cooking, assembles and prepares ingredients for cooking; and performs general pantry duties
- may be required to supervise other kitchen employees
As well as
- keeping areas clean and tidy;
- weeding and watering;
- trimming or mowing surrounds or similar areas with hand implements;
- assisting in maintenance and construction;
Applicants must be available to work weekends and public holidays as required. You must perform such additional duties and responsibilities as required from time to time providing they are within your skills, training, education and experience. There will be potential to up skill and training is provided. You do not have to be an Australian citizen to apply for this work, but you will need to be on a valid working Visa.
