We're looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to help build the next generation of our lending platform. You'll work across the full technology stack, developing customer-facing features, internal tools, and the systems that power our business.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the technology that powers Stay Finance.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing, developing and maintaining features across our lending platform.

- Building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js.

- Developing modern, responsive web applications using React and Next.js.

- Designing and maintaining database solutions using MongoDB.

- Working with AWS cloud infrastructure to build secure, reliable and scalable applications.





- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand problems and deliver practical, high-impact solutions.

- Contributing ideas to product development and influencing technical direction.

- Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.

- Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving production issues.

- Participating in code reviews and technical design discussions.

- Continuously improving development practices, system performance and platform architecture.

About You

You're a developer who enjoys building products, not just completing tickets. You're curious, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of your work while collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Commercial experience developing modern web applications.

- Strong experience with TypeScript.

- Experience building backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.

- Experience developing frontend applications using React and Next.js.

- Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and modern software architecture.

- Experience using Git and modern development workflows.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.





- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

- Experience working with AWS cloud services.

- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience writing automated tests.

- Understanding of application security and software engineering best practices.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Experience working in fintech or other regulated industries.

- Qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
